Entitled storyboard 2 because this is the second storyboard I've ever done during my short freelancing graphic design career. Done over a period of one and a half day (I consider that too slow, so does others). When the project has gone public I'll tell you more about it. You can read a little backgrounder on its creation process at my blog ([link])

update 18/05/2005 -- I've recreated and added frames 7 and 8. The paper originals are now lost forever, only this digital reproduction remain.

He's breaking free and running away from deadly chained solitude towards a peaceful, wide open space. And if I follow the brief I got for it then its supposed to be shot in 'bullet time.' (but I was kinda thinking if it was cut fast then it'd be gnarlier; and then if the final shot at the garden just stayed that way for a good five to seven seconds...) But I got your point, I guess...

BTW How'd you comment so fast? I barely uploaded the sucker.. :confused:

Oh and scenes 7 and 8 are missing because the scans came out bad (scanned as 'bitmap' instead of 'grayscale'). And while I was making them I was more obsessed with detailing the individual sketches as opposed to trying to interpret the story.

I was given a more-or-less 'conceptually finished' storyboard sketch as a reference. I have since thought about adding at least one more scene where more 'victims' walk out of aditional 'bunkers/prisons' (that little block you see somewhat in the middle of the last frame). And I was supposed to submit the project as vectorised digital artwork instead of as a pencil sketch.

Its not done yet. I don't feel like doing it.
